I have a 2001 S500 with 104 K miles.

issue 1.) When the car is idleing, especially cold, there is a prominant whistle/whirr from the engine. what is this? it is a new phenomomon.

issue 2.) My CD changer in the back is telling me that the cartridge is empty, no matter what i do. any thoughts?

 

With the cd player you could of had a sensor nocked in the changer causing it to not read the cd. where is te cd changer located?

 

The CD player is in the trunk. I may look at it, but i have an aftermarket warrantee, so I'll check to see if it is covered. Good thought, thanks.
