Default CD Changer Installation Help

Hello all,
I would like some help on how to install a cd changer in my car. I have a 2000 Mercedes s500 but there wasnt a cd changer install in this car when I bought it. So I went ahead and bought a used one on ebay. Here are some pictures of it.

I got the changer a couple of days ago and now trying to install it. I was told to look on the left side of the trunk to find a "optic cable". I am not sure what this cable looks like. I have taken some pictures to show the cables that I have found. Seems like one of the cable fits perfectly and powers the cd changer on but when I go to the dash it states "no cd changer". I am not sure if I am suppost to hook both wires to the back of the cd changer or not b/c there are two spot to plug something in the cd changer. Please look at these pictures.

I only hook up one wire that has three prongs.. I found an orange wire that is not connected to anything.. wat could this wire be for?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.. by the way, I have search this forum to find the same thread, but most of them are not in details, so it was hard for me to understand. Thanks guys...Take care

I am probably about to do the same thing. It appears that the 3 prong cable is power, and that there is a seperate fiber optic cable that needs to be installed. The orange cable is probably the fiber optic cable!

The fiber optic cable is supposed to be preinstalled from the factory so it should be there. It should just be a plug and play deal. By the way, did you buy a changer with a mounting bracket or was the bracket already installed in the car?
