Hi. I'm hunting for a replacement bumper for a 2012 S550 with sport package. I'm having trouble finding a clear photo (or one of each) showing the difference between the base bumper and the sport package bumper.

Can anyone post a photo of your base bumper?

 

I believe that the only difference was one had the fog light insert and the other one did not. Trying googling w221 front bumper. Since you already have a variation, the other choice would be either the standard oem or the sport option.

 

They all look the same to me. Plus, there don't seem to be enough photos of the 2012 S550 online to have lots of photos of specific model years. Google is giving me all sorts of different years plus a ****-ton of aftermarket bumper photos. I suppose I just need a 100% confirmed 2012 or 2013 base model front end without sport package.

 

You may want to reach out to MB and get the 2 part numbers from them and compare the differences.

 

I was finally able to find the difference. They both look extremely similar and have the same fog lights. The difference is that the sports bumper has a larger, deeper lip spoiler under each fog light. It also has a center grill that is turned down like a frown. The base model lower Grill is turned up like a smile.

if anyone has a sport package bumper to sell, I'd be much obliged.
