Default Can I put these wheels/tires on my W140 S500 1997?? Please help!

Hi, can I put these tires/rims off a 2004 SL on my 1997 s500 (W140)??

Fronts 255/40zr18
Rears 285/35zr18

I know they will fit but are they ok on the car? won't cause issues with computer/gas efficiency, suspension??

Please let me know, thanks.

you should be ok as long as they fit and no rubbing on the suspension components especially when you turn the steering wheel. I known many W140s riding around with 20s no problems.
