broken key fob
I have done a little research and I am finding out that a new key is $250.00 and only offered through the Dealer. I spoke with the Ebay online people and they basically told me the same, although they were happy to sell me the new ones anyway.
Before I drop $250.00 for a new key, I sure would like to hear another opion or experience. thanks!

Hi, I'm not sure what type of FOB you have but as long as you would transfer over from your existing one the key blade and trnsponder chip, it will work. I did two of them for my ML, 3 button style and they are now as brand new sets and no programing needed, only synchronization with your vehicle per owner's manual instructions.
Dealer was asking $150 per FOB plus $40 for programing, I paid $30 ea. off of e-bay.
