Just got a s550 last night. anyways this morning i notice something odd...the floormats were black...kinda odd..got mercedes before but the floor mats always match the interior...ie gray interior = gray mats...i went to the dealer and they said that the black floor matts is what the car came with....are they pulling my chain?

is short i want to them to change the black floor matts to tan ones...


is this possible...

floor mat is free, but some dealers just don't give them away.

they always have different color in stock.

ask them nicely and they will change it for you.

 

You just gave away a dealer secret!!!
now they will lose profits!

 

here, they will offer you to buy a set of floormats each time you buy a car.

nobody of course want to step on those velvety clean floor, so everybody else agree.

 

yippie got the manager to give a second set (tan ones) ...considering the microphone for the voice control was not picking up at all......they are fixing it for me on tue...other than that...car is great...the new nobe thing just takes too long ...sub menus and all... Navigation needs to be worked on...take some ques from honda....

the dealer charged me 595 for the blue tooth module...BMW has that thing for free.

 

Just purchased a 2001 SLK and we would like to purchase the original matts. Does anyone have a link to interior parts also?
We also would like a link to VIN # information.
