For this vehicle to lease it for 36 months would be $3,500 down and $968.00 a month.
Do you guys think I should do it?
I need some advice..

The mileage/cost ratio looks pretty good. The car has under 30000 miles and the factory warranty will be good to 50,000 miles or 7/09. There's another s500 in Texas that is similarly priced and has similar miles, but no sport package. I don't know how familiar you are with the major options on the cars, but the biggies are keyless go, power trunk, distronic, park assist and active seats. Park assist can be annoying, distronic is great if you are willing to follow the pack. I'm an alpha driver, so magically following the car in front does not work for me. The power trunk is a handy item as is keyless go. I like active seats, but they are a novelty, not a neccesity. Back to the car you are looking at: There is nothing else in the 2004's or 2005's that has better pricing. The Carfax is clean on both Texas cars, showing one Texas owner. The car you're asking about has the AMG five spokes that are actually fairly uncommon, but are easy to keep clean. The car does not have much in the way of options except the sport package. Part of that package is the extended front spoiler, which is easy to scuff. But, here's my bottom line: I say the car looks good, appears to have a legit history and is priced right. Call the dealer first, then Southwest airlines and buy a ticket and go see it and drive it. Texas will give you a 30 day tag to drive it, or you can have it shipped and avoid the miles. It is also half the cost of a new one. If you don't mind spending another $14,000, you can get a 2006 with 5000 less miles and more warranty. I don't know if the additional outlay is merited, since in three years the cars will only be about $5,000 different.

Active seats have air bladders that inflate or deflate when cornering hard to better hold you in, I also think they firm up if Pre Safe (impending crash detection) is activated. Reviews I have read say thay it is a useless gimmick and after the novelty wears off most testers turned it off. Keyless go on the other hand is a great option, I have selected it for my S550 I built online and will buy it as soon as my Lotto numbers come up.
