I have had the same problem on my 01 s430. It could be a couple of different things.

1 I will assumed that if the compressor is new and you change the relay you can here the compressor turn on. If so. I would try to find a leak. If your car is off and has been sitting for an hour if you open the door you should here the compressor kick on( at least it does on mine) while it is pumping, get down by the wheel well and listen to the air struts and see if you can detect a leak. You can also try soapy water on the lines going into the top of the air struts. However it is probably the struts themselves. If you have never changed them it would be time for them to start leaking and fail.

Most likely your front air struts are leaking and the compressor cant keep up. You can buy remanufactured struts from Arnott for half the price with a lifetime warranty.

Hi Gerber,

the air hose pumping to your suspension is at leak pls check one by one... the hose are the one on top of your suspension usually small white colored type- burst out air leaks.

update us with your finding. We too have these kind of problem in Asean countries
