Hey guys,
Let me begin by saying its been forever since I've been on this forum! Goodness, it has been a long time. Now let me get to my drama. I purchased this 02 S430 back in 08/09 timeframe. Since then, I have enjoyed it immensely. Nothing but rave reviews on my part. However the time has come for things to be changed out. I now have 169700 on the clock, and wear is starting to show. Heck of an automobile! So recently, I changed out the Lower Front Control Arms, Ball Joints, Lower Rearward Control Arms, Sway Bar Links, All four AIRmatic Struts w/ ADS, Compressor, Air Valve Block, Filter, Relay and Fuse, and finally, a Wheel Alignment. I have no lights on the dash whatsoever! Yet the car rides like it's on bricks! What the heck happened???? What is going on??? The ride is TERRIBLE! It feels like if I continue to ride like this something will definitely break! I need your help guys. What's the fix here. ADDITIONALLY, all of the ride height buttons work, but the ride goes from Harsh to Terrible1 to Worst2! The vehicle will raise when the option is selected, and lower when deselected. Even though it does, the AIRmatic struts still feel over pressurized, if that makes any sense. I don't know if it lowers at high speeds. I really need the help, guys.

Hello and welcome back to the forum! It sounds like the issue is with the control unit regulating the amount of air that fill up the bags. Have you ever had the unit replaced / looked at? Please let us know if you have any other questions or if we can assist with any future part needs.
