What could be causing the AC to turn on when I turn off the car ? The car is a 1993 300SD Mercedes.

ok so let me get this straight when the engine is turned off the ac compressor continues to turn? impossible. maybe your blower motor turns on? if so you may have a few things wrong. could be a bad relay. could be a bad push button assembly could be a bad blower speed regulator. pull the front cowelling (big black plastic piece that cover the ac blower motor. then pull the dust filter there is a connector there with 4 wires in it that is where you need to start checking voltages and see if your getting something you should not be getting


there are 2 big wires in it a brown and a red i thing the brown is your ground the other wire is naturally power. the other two wires one is a signal wire from your ac push buttons voltage reads (.9v to 5.2V) depending on fan speed the other wire is from a relay in that front relay box.
or you can just take it to the dealer and have a mb trained tech look at it
