Default 97 S420 Wont Start.....

It was running fine all day; I went to grab something to eat and when I came out and tried to start it it wouldn't.
It seemed like it was about to start several times, but didn't.
I had the battery tested at AutoZone and was told that the battery was good. The stereo
and lights all worked fully.

I tried to start in neutral as well, but nothing.

What could be wrong here? Maybe the wiring harness? Corrosion?

Help will be appreciated and thanks.

if you got automatic transmission, check for the starter lock-up switch.

it is attached on the side of at.

Seems to have something to do with the remote I busted earlier that day. Ordered a new remote/key to see if that was it.
I understand that theres some kind of ignition cut off for security when the remote is altered or broken.

when you say it won't start do you mean no crank or it cranks but will not start.

if cranks but will not start i would replace the crank position sensor . what most commonly happens is car runs the you go into store or what ever and when you come out car cranks but will not start. its usualy a hot start problem.

i reread and yes could be bad key remote cause key has transmitter and receiver is around IGN switch

hope this helps

Default 1994 Mercedes S320 High idling

I recently changed the Throttle Body on a 1994 Mercedes S320 afterwards when I crank the vehicle up,The Idle is very high about 2000 rpm and the Asr light is on at all times.I remembered after installing the throttle body that i forgot to put the gasket on the bottom, would this cause high idling or does it sounds like something else.
