hello to all, m.i.l light is on ran the codes p0700 transmission control, and another code reads incorrect gear,p0455 evap leak (large). it was running flawlessly until i came to a traffic light, started slipping and making a whining noise. let it rest for about 10mins started the car drove like 100feet, started slipping again, state police had to give me a push to the service road. had it towed back home. so i started playing around it starts up fine, you can hear the whining noise i can put it in gear and seems fine, i even drove it back and forth in my driveway. i did check the trans fluid ,seems ok, no leaks.also what is the going rate for this kind of repairs?any input on the cause? thank you all fo your help

As for the EVAP leak, try tightening the Gas Cap, or replacing it. Run a scan, erase that code and see if it duplicates. If that doesn't do it, then some other things may have to be checked, i.e., vacuum hoses, purge cannister, etc. That's when I run to others more qualified to lend a hand.
