95 S500 Runs erratic and stalls
I am new to this forum, I currently own a 08 C300 and am looking to buy a 95 S500 which has an issue with the engine, some faulty sensors. Crank sensor was changed problem did not go away, owner says problem with timing and may need timing sensor. Any ideas or advice. Thx
change timing ? isnt it chain belted.... hehheh
anyhow whats the problem on the car ? have u send it to a workshop who can diagnostic trouble shoot on the car? dont simply change this and that.. unless a proper diagnostic trouble code shows you its the faulty. or else you will end up like $$$$ instead of $$$..
let us know about ure outcome

May be plugged catalytic converter.
Measure temperature going into cat and out of cat.
Temp going out of cat should be roughly 100 degrees hotter.
If it's much colder exiting the cat, it's probably plugged.
