hey guys, well today i changed my throttle body(cuz my old one was busted) and when i put it in, the car started perfectly ASR light went off and the throttle worked perfectly, the car ran for about 30 sec( did not push the gas or anything), then there was a little clicking noise and the ASR light come on and throttle didn't work again, turned the car off and started it again ASR light off started up just fine and throttle worked then again 20 seconds later light comes on and throttle don't work, so i took the battery terminal off waited for a few min and put it back on and know everytime i start the car the ASR light is on and throttle dont work. has anyone had this problem? what can it be??

 

your throttle needs to be programed [ abductations need to be set can only be done with MB computer . some things just need to be done at MB shop independent / dealer

 

you get away at times leave the ignition switch ON for good 10 mins it will set it self if not than u ll NEED STAR DIAG TO RESET....

 

hey, i toook the car to my local mechanic and he said that there is no communication with the E-GAS computer. i was wondering what can that mean? can a computer just go out for no reason? is it possible its the wiring?

 

hey, im looking for a E-GAS computer. but i cant find the same number as on the computer. if the computer has 2 out of 10 different numbers will it not work?

hey, alot of people tell me to program it, but i took the car to this one electrition that works on German cars and he says that there is no signal coming from the E-GAS computer.

 

so mybe the computer have a problem u better change it or try to see what the problem

 

okay, but i want to know if the number will make any difference? i found come computers with all 8 digits the same only 2 are different. and i wanted to know if it will work in my car?
