'94 S500 Oil sending unit?

Recently, the oil 'idiot' light came on and I thought maybe the oil was low, which it wasn't. The oil pressure is good with the pressure being at around 2 when in idle and 3 when under throttle. Could this problem be a bad oil sending unit, or something else? IF it is the sending unit, will someone PLEASE tell me where Mercedes put it!! I can change it....if I could find it[sm=smiley25.gif] I was also told that it could be the oil pressure unit, but I sort of discount that since my pressure is right where it should be. Any help sure would be appreicated!! THANKS!
I know this is off topic, but I've owned this 'Tank' for almost 2 years now and I see now why so many people love these old Tanks. Okay, so they aren't 'fuel efficient,' and they are a high maintenance vehicle and, at times, rather expensive to repair. But there is just something about them that, after owning one, nothing else seems to measure up.
