560 SEL outside temperature & daytime running lights
I have a 1988 560 SEL. I am wondering if the outside temperature display can be switched between Celsius and Fahrenheit
I am also wondering if there is a way of setting up this car to run Daytime Running Lights

yes there is to set up temp to celcius. Did it once by accident in germany and switched it back by restting it. Dont remember what I did but it can be done.
Well if you have the US speced lamps, I'm not sure. If you have the true European setup(the one that cost a good penny), it can be done.
