I changed the alternator and in the process I disconnected the battery. The radio had code on it (Kids playing around) and now all the radio will do is flash WAIT. I have used up my three guesses. Any suggestions?

The 1432 radios had a security feature that disabled it after so many tries. I am only working on recall but it went something like this, after three tries 15 minute wait, after six or so 24 hr wait, and the radio needs to be on to reset. That is a problem because it will shut off in one hour if you dont have the key on. My best advice is study your manual and leave a trickle charger on it, if you dont have the code the MB dealer should be able to pull it up with the VIN
