Hi. We have a 2004 s430 with 189k miles. Car is mint inside and out..
only issue we're having is that we cannot get the car out of park.. I cant find anything in the owners manual explaining where the emergency release is so that we can check the mechanism inside the shifter but from the sound i cannot hear the solenoid release when we press the brake pedal with key on or car running..

Brake lights work but not about that 2nd position in the switch..

Can anyone clarify where the emergency release is on this model shifter? So i can check that next..
Arw there any fuses that may interfere or anything else to try??
