What is the process of adding a phone to the 01-S430. I have a cable where the phone should go and the options on the display but I dont know if I need a special phone or an additional component.

Sounds like you already have a phone kit designed to work with MB-specific phone such as V60.
With Argos Bluetooth module, you will be able to pair with any Bluetooth-enabled phones and cradle is not needed.

Where can I get this phone or where can I find out which phones go with my car. The dealer seems like all they know about are the new cars, and the Cingular place all they know about is cell phones... Also do I need a bluetooth module to plug into the thing under my arm rest??

Your current PSE phone module will be replaced by Argos module. You no longer need plug inside the armrest. Argos is compatible with ALL Bluetooth phones. However, phonebook upload and CallerID features may vary by the phone make/model and the service provider.
