I am a new owner of a used S430, I had a couple of questions.
A.
Is there a way to replace the CD changer to play MP3's, or is there a generic brand that I can replace the changer and it work with existing cables?
B.
Does anyone know how to program the side mirrors to automatically close when locking the car? Also I cant figure out how to get the garage door opener to get programmed with my Genie excelerator door opener?
C.
Are there some upgraded tail lights that I can put on the vehicle, my rear tailight haas a crack in it?
D.
Where is the cheapest place I can get the newest GPS maps?
E.
Are the V rated tires any much better than the standard tires that are recommended for the vehicle?
F.
Mine didnt come with standard fog lights, is there a way to add them?
G.
Is the only place to pick up a replacement key the dealer?

Easiest way is to use a FM transmitter or assuming you have a casette use a casette that accepts an Aux in. Then just plug in your iPod or whatever. Works fine. Not as good as a real head set with MP3 input (i.e. Steering column play control) but much easier.

USA map? so don't know. eBay?
E.
V is a speed rating. Not sure the legal position in the USA about using tyres with lower rating if the max. speed will never be used. However the manufacturers have to fit tyre compatible with the advertised top speed.
My suggestion is stick with the OE speed rating and also size, tread pattern etc if you want to avoid all sorts of noise and wear problems.
F.
Need to go to dealer. If available that will be the only place they are available. But what do they add? Looks?
G.
Yep. eBay BUT BE WARNED. The issue is programming it so simplest solution is to go to the dealer with a large wad of cash!?
