2000 S500 w/Low Oil, Coolant warning lights on
Thanks in advance for helping me answer this quesion:
I have a 2000 S500 with 100,800 miles. About a month ago the check washer fluid light came on, despite the fact that the fluid was topped off. Then, a few weeks later the Check Coolant light came on, again despite the fact that the coolant was also at the proper level. Now, the Low Engine Oil light comes on, and occasionaly flashes red and warns to stop the engine, despit the fact that the oil was recently changed at the shop and is at the proper level.
I have no oil leaks, and it doesn't blow any smoke. The car drives and sounds like it always has, which is to say perfect.
I don't want to bring it in to the dealer for an unnecessary repair because quite frankly money is a little tight right now and I don't want to put myself at their mercy without knowing a little more about what is going on here.
Does anyone have any experience with this type of problem?
Can i simply do somethng to reset the lights or eve....disable them?
Any advice would be appreciated.

RE: 2000 S500 w/Low Oil, Coolant warning lights on
the coolant and washer fluid is just a sensor problem. check the level again.
about the oil warning light, open the hood and check the oil level. even if you have just changed oil recently. always confirm. use dipstick.
it doesn't have to blow any white smoke to know that your engine is consuming too much oil. a lot of your engine model do BURN oil. the piston rings and valve seals leaks.
or else, the oil level sensor is seized.
