2000 s430 side marker light needs bulb replacement. I was able to pry the light housing out of the bumper, but there is resisatnce to pulling it out enough to get at bulb and I don't want to break it. Am I doing this correctly?

I did this on my 2003 clk and it was easy.

Surpise, There's not enough wire that is causing the resistance. I am investigating if the wire is caught up on something. In the mean time the coupler came off the wire. Not sure if there is enough room to work on to re-attach the wire to the bulb socket. A 15 minute job is turning into an hour job and I am not even done. I hope the wire is caught up on something other wise thanks mercedes for giving me too short of a wire.
