Hello all, I recently picked up a 96 S600 with 58,000 miles. I must say it is an awesome ride! My butt has graced many automobiles over the years and for overall ride comfort this thing is in a class all by itself. My question is about the trunk close assist. It will not pull the trunk closed. Is there anyplace I could find a diagram of the system so I can attempt to diagnose this thing? I also ordered a new rear seatbelt and will be replacing it as the auto release is defective. A diagram or instructions on hoe to remove that sucker would be helpful too since I don't want to destry any molding clips pulling it out. Thanks for your help!

What else is the car doing? Again, as with others, it sounds like you're having PSE Pump problems. At which point, a re-build or replacement is the solution.
