1996 S500 coupe Check engine light is on
Hello everyone! Few days ago my check engine light came on,yesterday I hooked up the computer and it showed me two codes, first was P0120 which is Actuator Actual Value pot.meter, and the other was P0203-Injector Cylinder #3(y62y3). Now, I tried to disconnect the plug from the injector #3, the car started to shake like one cylinder is not working, then I put it back on,and the engine worked fine, and in general engine is running nice and steady even with these codes. Then I tried to erase the codes but they never went away, looks like the problem is constant. I have a question, What the problem might be? What is the connection between these two codes?
Thanks for your time!

no need to worry about the #3 injector now.
the throttle valve actuator must be faulty... it can be the wiring to it also.
check wiring and connectors for any dirt or poor contact and corrosion.

are you using HHT or Star Diagnosis?
see the actual value of refference potentiometer. both of them. one going up, the other in opposite direction.
was the value correct? or the other one no longer moves? there's delay?

I heard a lot of times, that because the extreme heat under the hood the wires in the harness are getting cracked up and than the problems start. May be I should replace the harness in this case?

just do further check first.
only when you are 100% satisfied with your findings that you start to decide the next step.
parts are too expensive to make such error in diagnosing.
