1994 S320 - window motor drains battery
The driver window motor drains the battery over night; no keys in the ignition, all switches off.
The original motor failed after charging the battery for a day, as I didn't make the connection between the two problems.
I replaced the old motor last week; new motor/window functioned properly for 3 days, and then stopped ... dead battery returns!
With power to the battery (charger) you can hear the motor cycle (few seconds) on / off as if trying to move the window. The motor removed from the door - runs continously, but does not respond to the up/down button to reverse direction.
With the power leads (2 wires top snap connection) removed, battery holds a charge .... window remains in the closed position!
How does the window motor get "top"/"bottom" sensor information?
How does this get fixed?
