Hello all, I was wondering if there is anything particularly different about the position of the oil filter in a 1991 600SEL. The mechanic (not amerc specialist) had problems finding it first time round.

600SEL only made in years 1992-1993 as I know it. Under the driver's side air cleaner assembly. After few times, I found it easy to remove driver's side MAF and air cleaner assembly as a whole (or separate),reach in and do the oil filter change, put all back, in a few minutes.Good time to look around and check all connections to MAF, air temp sensor, driver’s side ETA (Electronic Throttle Accelerator), etcwiring on dirver's side of engine.
