Default 1988 300 SEL

I just purchased a 1988 300 SEL with 92,000 miles on it. It seems to be in good working condition. I was wondering what recommendations anyone might have as to preventative maintenance. The car is in pristine external condition, but I purchased it at an auction, so I have no clue about the maintenance records. Assuming that very little was done, what things should I have checked/replaced for a car of this age and mileage? Is it time to change the timing chain? Anything else beyond changing the oil, air filter, and having the transmission checked? I just want to have an idea of what to expect and what to ask for so I don't get bamboozled when I take it into the dealership. Thanks for your help.
