1985 w126 central locks.
I am currently trying to diagnose my central locks. The problem I am having is that locking any controlling lock will cause all locks to unlock. I obviously have no leaks.
What I have so far.
I have run the pump on the bench and if I ground any of the 3 pins the pump pulls untill the vac switch makes. Then if I apply 12v to a pin the pump pushes until the press switch makes.
I also tested the wiring in the car and all is correct.
I checked the switches on the controlling locks and the seem to be working correctly.
I reinstalled the pump in the car and the locks all work with a jumper to test 1 pin at a time. When I install the 3 pin plug, when any controlling lock is pressed th pump occillates and then pushes the locks back.
I am tempted to pull the system and go solenoid at this point.
I am not sure if I am missing something since my diagrams ate for 86 model year.
Any help would be great.
