hey! i am brand spanking new to this forum....

currently i am looking to purchase a second gen S class (2000-2005) and would like to put 19" amg rims on it. HOWEVER -i really hate the look of "rubber band tires" or "wagon wheels" as i've sometimes heard them called. i've got 35 profile's on 19's on my bmw and regret it. i would really like to do 40 profiles on 19's for the S class but aren't sure about fitment. i know that the 3rd gen amg has 19's with 40s but not sure if that would translate to my 2nd gen. also am curious about rim width and tire width. i'd like to stay at least 255 wide.... any advice would be great.
