This may be a covered topic - if so then post a link and forgive the newbie. My 2007 R320 CDI headlight went out. No big deal, right? I go in and get the bulb out. Turns out the bulb is molded to a 2-wire connection that snaps into a wiring harness outside the cap of the headlight assembly. I went to a local parts store and also looked online and all the usual suspects are bulbs with easy connections as part of the molded plastic assembly. Is this an aftermarket headlight? How do I get a replacement bulb that will fit the wiring?
