Hi Everyone,

We own an '06 ML350 with about 20K miles on it. On a trip from LA to San Francisco we got off the 101 to get coffee. The transmission would not shift out of first when we tried to take off from a standstill.

The dealer says the transmission valve body needs to be replaced (under warranty).

Anyone with similar problems? What can I expect the outcome to be?

Also, does anyone notice that their cooling or ac fan is overly intrusive? It's really annoying, makes the car sound like it's laboring. Dealer says its normal.
