Default Trany downshifted and stays on first gear.

It was working just fine... but just out of the blue downshifted to third, second, and now doesnot go more than firstgear.

I got under the car, and i disconnect the wire harness from the plug and a lot of transmision oil came out of the plug...

Does anybody know how can i fix all of this problems? anbody has gone thru this same problems and fixed them?

Sure, it is a ML 320 2000... i took it to a transmision shop and their computer showed three codes 109 113 and 137, they cleard all codes and we took a test drive... it worked like nothing happend, i droveit up to 65 miles per hour and everything was great, the mecanic then told me to headback to the shop... at a stop sign i had to break and then go back but then 1rst. gear ok, 2nd. ok, 3rd.ok... but 4th was the top gear at the time.

Ok then i tought, now this guy knows how to fix it... he told me to stop again and sure i did... he toldme to sut the motor off and he cleard just one code now 109... and he toldme to turn on the motor again... at this time everything went fine again...
when we arrived to the shop the owner toldme that still have to open the trany and probaly have to rebuild all the transmision, i was like what? for a code that says it is a speed sensor malfunction?

im not a mecanic, but i will like to hear from you guys what do think?
