I recently purchased a 1999 ML430. The one fender has to be replaced, i was considering shaving the side markers and doing the new style side mirrors with the turn signals in them. Does anyone know if they will fit? Also what year did they change to these side mirrors? And where could i get some if they would fit??

but they are totally different.
the side marker lamp is being monitored as well.
if you will do the modification, ask advise from the person who will do it.
