Default Seat Warmers

Any experience out there with aftermarket seat warmers? I'm looking at heatedseatkits.com. Seems like a doable project, but I have a lot of questions: eg: can MBZ switches be used? Are there other reliable vendors? What source does MBZ use for factory installed parts?

Switches should be ok of any kind, very low control power goes through them to turn on timers for relay coils. Main power to heaters is trnsfered by 12V relays with contacts rated at about 40 to 50 Amps of resistive load. I'm thinking to install set of heaters to rear seats in my ML instead of wool blanket.
