My 2003 ML350 warranty was expired on May. I bought extended warranty from Warranty Direct. I like to know if there is any good Mercedes repair shop in Central Jersey, or New Jersey and Staten Island. I had problem with window last month, I had to travel to Brooklyn for repair, I dealt with Graft German Car in Flatland section of Brooklyn, the owner seems a great guy, and they only fix Merceds and accept Warranty Direct Plan, but it is a bit too far from my house.

By the way, I found the post here very helpful. There is instruction how to install a new brake pad, I think I will try out next time when my brake pad was worn out. My car normally worn out a pad very 10K, which I was told it is normal for ML350 due to its heavy weight -- it is 5K lb beast.

 

would you recommend the mechanic in brooklyn? do you have his address and phone number?

 

I dealt with Graft, which is the sponsor on this web site. You can try him out, only prolbem is they located in a minor neighborhood -- I think it is middele-class area, it should be safe.

 

Good luck, Warranty is a pain for shops. They don't get paid the full amount they should get. Many do not accept Warranty type work.

 

I have a great mechanic for you if your interested. They only work on German Cars. The owner used to work for Mercedes and they are Bosch certified. They do it right the first time guaranteed.
