looses power after about 10 km motor does not die , after beeing parked for awhile it starts first time and you can drive on
when you stop there is a bad smell at the back allmost
like burnt gun powder
can this be the fuel filter
or the fuel pump
please help if you can
I donot want to get rid of the wagon

 

check for clogged catalysts

had the catalysts checked at the local tyre and exhuast shop was still in good condition on Saterday afternoon removed the battery to clean up and replace the rubber mat beneath it took about 1 hour on the next trip we had no problems
took the wagon to Capetown yesterday for a service about 300km all ok
must have been a sensor or something else
