I bought a 99 ml320 this summer 190 km on it seemed like a dream! I was in love! About 3 months later car would get stuck in 1st gear when trying to leave the house and would get no power but hit up to 4000 rpm. We took it into a mb garage, they pulled internal trans wear code and serviced the trans. Nothing changed. They recommended a new trans. We did and it seemed to be better for a few days. Then problem came back, pulled codes for faulty conductor plate and shift solenoid. The garage replaced these parts saying it was fixed. layer that night car wouldn't shift! when i informed the garage they said they were at a loss for words. Now my car will still get stuck in gears but I can usually use the manual shift to get it to shift.. Now with cold weather I have to let it warm up and hope it will shift. Also tried resetting the trans. Other problem is if its cold and I hit a red light within first few mins car will not move when I try to accelerate... No power no rpms just scary! I will fiddle put in neutral, put it in manual shifting, try drive and eventually it will crawl then Lurch forward. After driving for about 10 mins it drives fine. Seems to only act up when less than 5 degrees outside. Please help!!!
