New Nav unit...plug and play?
Just got back form the dealer and they claim my entire head unit is fried, and they want to sell me a new one for 2k. So I've looked on ebay and they have some MCS head units with nav for much better prices than the dealer. My question is if I buy a new head unit with nav, will I simply be able to take the old one out and plug the new one in and have everything work they way it supposed to? I have an 00 ml430 which already is set up for nav, which came with the vehicle. Any help would be much appreciated.

Not exactly the same thing, but GPS antenna with mapping software from Delorme cost $99.
With my laptop I am seeing it on 14" screen with option to split it on 3 different-scale maps.
For driving with family I installed the laptop holder.
Great thing for watching DVDs while my wife is driving. With tape adapter the surround sound works great.
