Default My AC problems due to bad AAM (All Access Module)

AC problem: blows hot when driving; cool when still. No cooling fan action.
Work in process: Coolant was gone, so refilled w/ 750gm plus green die to find line leaks. And yes - one valve was leaking, one prob solved. Still hot air when driving and no fan action. Broke down and went to my tech guy - laptop diagnostics showed that AAM sending bad commands to compressor.
Didn't want to replace the main computer but I've got german attitude - this will finally fix it! I forked over the $465 for OEM AAM and all is well this time.
But costs/benefits are against further fixes to my old gal of 175k mi.
