Question ML320 Emergency Brake cables not connected

Hi,

I recently replaced my ML320 e-brakes. When I pressed down on the e-brake paddle the brakes did not engage. I located the main cable connector underneath my truck and discovered the two cables leading from my back brakes were not connected. Questions – how do I reconnect the two cables back to the main connector?

Thanks
