ML279CDi Parktronic and auto lights stopped working.
Hi, I have a 2003 ML 270CDi. The Parktronic and the auto lights have both stopped working. The lights have to be switched on manually and the Parktronic lights come on mostly when I brake but with nothing in front to set them off. I would be grateful for any info. Many thanks

Just had my ML270 in the garage with a similar fault - both sets of red parking lights on at the front and the rear set not working at all - they decided one of the rear sensors has failed and have ordered a new one to be fitted next week.
A bit of a job - rear bumper has to come off and almost £200.
Just drove home from the garage and they all work fine now - the joys of motoring.
My bet is if you can isolate each sensor in turn to identify the culprit the rest may work.
