I have recently looked at a system that has a special base to hold my ipod and there is a video cable. It says that I can connect my ipod to the interface unit so it will play my videos on the screen. Is there a special input so i can connect the cable? and will it really play my videos that i have on my ipod on the main screen? thanks for any advice...

 

I have the same vehicle 2002 ML320 Sport. If you click on the TVandNAV2go.com add you will see that you must send them your stock "radio" to add a "video in" to the system. With that modification I believe that you can add external video drivers to your system (i.e. DVD, TV, Ect.). You can also look for a European spec. "radio" which I believe has the video input built in. I have seen a few advertized as such on ebay. I hope this helps!
