First post here....

I got an '05 ML500 with stock wheels that need new tires (city driving). The best price that I have find until now is $185 locally. I remember spending much less for my Dragradials and ET streets for my camaro so I get the feeling that $185 is a little high just for a set of regular tires.

What tires can Ml500 wheels take? Right now I have 275 53 R17....

What is the width of the rim? (8") could I use anything below 275?

That is really not a bad price, if they are speed rated tires. Go to a tire shop ( Goodyear, ect.) they will look it up for you for free.
