My 98 ML320 hesitated when accelerating after the vehicle had warmed up.
It wouldn't go more than 5-10 mph. Slowly it gained speed up to 45 mph and then drove normally. After turning off the engine and restarting, it seemed to drive normal.
Has anyone had this issue before? I don't see anything like it on the previous posts.

any misfire?

 

has the check engine light ever come on when it happened

 

No Check engine light. Just a one time event.
