Default Front and Real Brakes - ML-500

I am trying to replace the brakes of my 2002 ML-500. Currently, I am working on the real brakes. I replaced the Real rotor with no problem, but I could not pull the old brake pads out. Can someone please help me. Thanks a lot..!!!

You need to tap out the pins. Once started, they can be pulled out by needlenose pliers. After you take out the first pin, the retaining clip should slide out. Note orientation of the clip. Once the pins and clips are out, the pads will slide right out. Installation is reverse of removal, only semi difficult part is tapping the pins back in from the inside. Have a good small hammer available. You will also need to compress the pistons before the caliper will fit over the rotor with the fresh pads. And use plenty of anti squeal on the pad backing plates.
Regards,
Jerry
