I have been offered a free 1998 ML320 with 120,000 miles on it. It's my dads and he has decided to get a new car. After seeing the low trade in value he decided he'd rather give it to a family member. The car is in great shape with just a couple minor problems. AC has a coolant leak, the Air Blend motor needs to be replaced and the horn isn't working. I was planning to make this my daily driver and just keep it going. I read all the issues that the 98's had but strangely my dad says his seemed to be an exception and he hasn't had any major issues with the car since he bought it new. If anyone has any advice on what I should look out for and get checked out let me know. I'm not planning on it being trouble free but if there are common items that typically fail at this stage I'd like to be prepared.
