Default Fluid leak.

Okay, I've about had it with lousy work done by the dealer!

I've taken my 99 ML430 in twice for fluid leaks. The first time they tell me it was an oil leak, coming from somewhere in the front of the engine. I get it back and they didn't clean the mess off the radiator and lower steering linkage. The second time, which is several weeks later,I start to hear the power steering unit squeal, so back it goes and is returned to me in the same condition, dirty, with a new power steering hose. I decided to degrease the engine compartment, since they didn't do it, and have since found that the connectors for the two hoses that enter the driver's side of the radiator areleaking, causing the fluid to drip all over the steering linkage and my driveway. I believe this is what caused my initial concern, but they failed to find it. I'll be damned if I take it back to them!

Is there a gasket that needs replaced to stop this leak or will tightening the connector be sufficient?

Its very common for both of these hoses to leak or in worst case come completely off.. A new hose and proper installation is the only thing required. These hoses are for your power steering cooler.

Okay, the power steering hose is fixed. The top hose had a loose clamp. Now I have found another oil leak. It'scoming from somewhere on the front of the engine. Does anyone know where the most common leaks are found, so I might exclude those first?

It looks like the leak is coming from behind the 3 3/4" pully that is located between the harmonic balancer and the power steering pully. Here's a pic from below, it's the pully in the middle. Anyoneknow a fix for this or if it's something else in that region that'll be causing it?
