ESP/BAS malfunction merced benz
Hi Guys,
My ML 320 '02 shows ESP/BAS light on. This morning I started the engine and press the brake to put the gearin revesed, the gear box was locked. It would not let me put my car in revesed or todrive. The engine started fine, but once I started pressing the brake to put the car to drive. The gear box was locked. Please help!!! Thank you!!!

I think it is very similar problem I had before. It was some spring and cable problem attached to gear box. If you can engage the gear by pressing lock release near lever, that is probably why.
