does anyone know the difference between the single clip connector and the double clip connector? my ML's a '99

 

some of the crank position sensors have a 2 clip connector and some have 1. 1 clip is the most common but the only way to tell is
to actually look at the connector that clips on to the crank position sensor. 2 clips have the clips on the short side of the connector or the sides, and the 1 clip has the clip on the long side of the connector or the top of the connector. thats the easiest wayI canexplain it with out a picture.
