Hello everyone. I have a 1999 ML430. I have been noticing a clicking noise when I'm pulling out of the drive way. When I put the car in drive or reverse, and let the car idle back i can hear a clicking noise coming from the front driverside. The slower the tires are moving the slower the click. Almost sounds like ball bearing hitting each other. Took it to a mechanic to hear it out, and he said it may be something in the drive train. He wont be able to look at it till tomorrow. I want to see if anyone has experianced or may no what the propblem COULD BE. I would like to educate myself before I take it to the mechanic. Any help whould be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
